New to yoga in general or just new to the Yoga Room?

Here are some FAQ’s and Etiquette to get you started. Of course you can ask a teacher, desk staff or another student for help. The Yoga Room is an amazing community willing to help out as much as you need.

  • We have Beginner classes, but if the timing is not quite right Yoga Flow is the next best class for you. If you have questions please contact our Yoga Advisor to get answers and guidance. info@plymouthyogaroom.com

  • Wear something comfortable and flexible. Shirts should be snug enough to not fall if you bend over, yet not constricting.

  • Yes, you will need a yoga mat and probably a towel. Mats are available to rent at the studio.

  • You should hydrate before and after class. Water is available at the studio. Bring your own refillable water bottle.

  • Our room is heated to 85 degrees in Yoga Flow and 90 in Vinyasa. Heat detoxifies the body and allows you to form your body without breaking it. “With enough heat even steel will bend”.

  • As with anything you do, the more you practice the better the results are. 2-3 times a week will bring changes over time, 4-6 times per week will bring you life changing results. “Continuity of practice is the secret to success.”

  • If you have a physical practice savasana is a must. Savasana brings recovery and balance of energy to you. With out it you may be scattered and aloof after your practice. “It’s a waste of time” you might say. Is giving time to yourself a waste? I think not. Take care of yourself so you can put perspective in your live.

  • Certainly! We teach private classes for injury recovery, beginner awareness, parties, & Corporate give back to employees. Fill out this form to get started.
